Thank you for the positive comments on my first Ashdown Log. Ian and I were both pleased with the result. We're a bit under pressure this time as we are disappearing to Croatia for a fortnights sailing holiday just at the time the log is due to go to press. For the same reason apologies to Nigel but we won't make the walk. Maybe, for my sins, I may have to write myself an article!
There are some super cruises on the agenda. I am really looking forward to the January cruise as it appears to be in the Caribbean! More seriously, it must be said that the weather in January can be excellent. Ian and I did a 'round the island' trip on Blue Scherzo last January and I also remember a February outing on Fizzgig when it was shorts and T-shirt weather! - so give it a try.
I am looking forward to enjoying a festive and convivial evening at the Christmas Dinner. For those who don't make it have a Happy Christmas and a Successful Sailing New Year.
PS Should anyone find themselves fortunate enough to be writing about any cruises or boating matters the deadline for the next publication is January 19th 2006.
