The AGM is almost upon us again and you will by now have received the nominations notice. You will see that there are a number of vacancies on the committee this year, some because of committee member rotation and others because those concerned find that other commitments mean they cannot give the club the attention it deserves.
We therefore really do need you to consider whether you could give some of your own precious time to the running of the club. Please don't be shy about this: if you feel you would like to be involved please put your name forward; or just have a chat to one of the existing committee and test the water. If you think one of the other members would be a real asset, ring them up and sound them out. It really isn't an onerous task - you know how relaxed the club is - and fresh input and new ideas are what maintain the club's vitality.
So be bold and come and get involved - please!
And don't forget to come along and support the AGM on 5 October at Spooners.
