About us Events Ashdown Log Members boats Find out more Links Back Home	A North Downs Ramble or Not quite an Ashdown Walk. Rain ? Probable Mud? Likely Good beer and wine? Almost certain, A short but enjoyable walk? Guaranteed. Good company? That will depend if you and your four-legged friends come or not! For a change the Ashdown autumn walk is heading west to the North Downs near Dorking. The intention is to meet at Denbies vineyard and walk from there over Ranmore Common. We should be able to have a meal in the restaurant - I will check if dogs are allowed in. The vineyard, shop etc are worth visiting as well. Where? Denbies has its own exit off the roundabout just north of Dorking on the A24. You can get there by either coming along the A25 or via Jct9 on the M25. Time? 10ish for a 1030 start so we can be back by about 1pm. When? Sunday 16 October2005 Cruise leader? Nigel, How far? 4 miles (ish) less or more if you wish!
